Rather than take profits and distribute them to company stakeholders, any profits earned by the organization are reinvested in the nonprofit and used to further the institutions mission for the benefit of the community it serves.
UMSAz offers programs on-line asynchronously to accommodate the working professional. Faculty/student synchronous meetings may be scheduled and student/student to increase interactive collaboration.

Travel to Hawaii is required for some of the courses that have on campus lab intensives. Lab intensives are scheduled for 2 days ONLY one time a semester. The labs are generally scheduled near the end of the semester.

The Admissions office is available Monday – Thursday, 7am – 5pm HST, and on Friday, 7am – 11am HST. The Admissions office is closed on Federal and University Holidays.
