Financial Management and Economics in Health Care

This course is a part of the online program in the Doctor of Nursing Science. The Doctor of Nursing Science (DNSc) program is designed to prepare nurses with advanced research skills to deliver evidence-based patient care.

This course examines the main tenets of managing the financial components of the health care delivery systems.  It will also outline the economic principles that are involved in these same delivery systems. The course will highlight the various impacts that the financial and economic health care environments have on nursing administration.

DNS 7303 Financial Management & Economics in Health is part of the ‘CORE‘ course component within the Nursing Sciences program.
