This course is a part of the online program in the Doctor of Science in Movement Sciences (DScMvt). The DScMvt curriculum is a scientifically based clinical doctoral degree. Its focus is on the study of human performance as it relates to movement and dysfunction throughout the lifespan.
This course examines the developmental biomechanics throughout the lifespan along with the effects of developmental disabilities on biomechanics. The course will also focus on the development of motor patterns in relations to the maturation of the nervous system. The effects of age throughout the lifespan on the sensory, neuromuscular, and central nervous systems will also be discussed.
DSC 7201 Developmental Biomechanics across the Lifespan is part of the ‘CORE‘ course component within the Doctor of Science in Movement Sciences program.
